Let’s face it, we live a penis-oriented society. Like it, or not, there are numerous devices, medications, and toys all dedicated to—you guessed it—the penis. Even a majority of female pleasure toys are designed to look like a dick. More than likely, if you’re reading this article, you either have a penis, or you love using the hell out of one. This is because when it comes to having enjoyable sex, having an erect penis rules!
For a lot of couples, sex brings us closer together to our partner. In fact, we are the only species to have sex for the simple enjoyment, how great is that. Engaging in a healthy sexual relationship provides a wealth of benefits by releasing healthy, happy hormones called endorphins. It also helps to boost the immune systems, as well as lower blood pressure, alleviate stress, and soothe migraines. Plus, it improves the quality of sleep and can even lower the risk of prostate cancer.
Unfortunately, however, there are millions of men that are having their sex lives completely diverted because they are unable to maintain a full erection, and that can be torturous to say the least. This one of the few health conditions which directly affects intimate relationships and it can be emotionally, mentally and physically draining. Statistics show that a nearly 50% of men over 50, experience mild to severe erectile dysfunction, also known as E.D.
No worries—I’m here to explain some methods that you can use today to prevent the dreaded limp penis syndrome.
I’m going to let you in a big secret. You ready? Your lifestyle is, without a doubt, the number one reason why you may not be able to get it up or even keep it up. This is because your penis directly reflects what’s going on inside your body. A basic rule of thumb is, if it’s bad for the heart, more than likely, it’s going to be bad for the penis. So with that said, how you treat your body makes a huge difference in how your penis treats you.
I’m a prime example of how lifestyle choices can contribute to ED. During my misspent youth, I partied hard. I would drink copious amounts of alcohol, smoke tons cigarettes, ingest stimulants, and then top it all off with piles of junk food and delicious desserts. Even though I exercised five days a week, looked great physically, and was in my late 20’s, I still had a huge problem in getting and maintain an erection. What I realized was that everything I was ingesting was causing poor blood flow, thus causing my penis to go unexpectedly flaccid—no matter how turned-on I was feeling.
There is no arguing, at least from a man’s perspective, the penis is a marvelous organ. But when it’s not getting the proper blood flow, it can leave you in utter frustration. There’s no way around it, because the penis relies solely on healthy circulatory system and a dirty mind, all your pleasure will be stunted all because of your lifestyle choice. Have too much fat, flour, processed foods, and sugar in your diet–eventually it leads to clogged arteries. Clogged arteries then leads to an unhappy penis.
The penis is all part of a delicate system and when one part of that system begins to deteriorate, there goes the sex life. It does not matter if your body is in tip-top shape—processed foods, too much alcohol, and smoking constricts the blood vessel which then hinders the proper blood flow to your member. Now I’m not saying, you must stop everything immediately, but I am saying take everything in moderation. Just remember one thing, nothing from Domino’s, Papa Johns, or Pizza Hut is as delicious as hitting it Doggy Style!
It’s never too late to repair your body from the damage caused by lifestyle choices. In fact, the cells in our bodies are programmed for survival and will help to restore your health, but only with the proper nutrition. In order to help revitalize that limp bizkit, per se, you must have the right balance of vitamins, minerals, and nutrition.
To create the proper balance for your body and repair its health, fruits and vegetables are going to be your new best friends—everyday! They will help to detoxify, cleanse your digestive system. It will also assist the 100 trillion microbial gut bacteria that live in our 28 feet of digestive system to regenerate, for the better, in only 24 hours, all with the help of some fruits and vegetables. The bonus for being kind to your systems is that will be lower blood pressure which in turn helps to increase your heart’s pumping ability. And when the heart starts pumping right, the penis gets to celebrate.
The more “a-live” foods you eat, the better your body will react in healing. It’s important to break into a new diet slowly. First, you can start by skipping the Chick-Fil-A drive-thru after work and opt for a home cooked meals instead. Since you’re a man, grilling with fire is a part of your DNA. So, let your inner caveman out and explore fresh grilled lean meats like fish, chicken, or turkey. Then, as a treat once a week, grill up a tasty grass-fed beef tenderloin. You know you can do it for penis sakes. Before you know it, you’ve completely reversed your trajectory of ED and created a healthier body and sex life.
Just in case you’re uncertain about which foods to give up, I’ve created a list of potential erection harming foods: Diary, Corn, Wheat, Bread, Sugar, Soda, Fast Food, Flavored Coffee Creamers, Fruit Juices, Vegetable Oils, and Deli Meats. There are plenty more but these are a good start at getting rid of.
Just like an expertly crafted machine, our bodies are designed to move. However, a lot of our lives are spent sedentary–sitting at a desk, waiting in traffic, being a couch potato, which ultimately wrecks havoc on our bodies, minds, and spirits. Although this type of lifestyle may be inevitable, it is nonetheless creating insurmountable stress in our lives. And this stress is killing our sex lives and contributing greatly to ED.
Exercising at least five days a week for a minimum of 30-minutes is the best way to prevent and reverse ED. To make your penis feel like a well-oiled machine, maximize your exercise routine by incorporating some cardio. This helps to elevate the heart rate and boost healthy hormones levels.
One exercise that is often overlooked by men is Kegels. This particular exercise does not take a gym membership and can be done while sitting in traffic or while on a conference call. The initial way to train yourself to perform Kegels is the slowing and stopping of urination so that you can locate the muscles. Once you’ve been able to stop the flow of urination, you’re a pro and you’ll be able to now contract those muscles anytime you desire. The idea is you want to do approximately 10 sets of as many 1-3 second holds as you can, perform twice a day. The stronger your PC muscles, the likelihood of maintaining a strong and healthy erection. If you are serious about getting the most out of your penis, you will not ignore this one.
Getting back on track, especially after experiencing health induced ED can feel like long journey. But for men like me who have made the needed changes, there was certainly a significant increase in longer and stronger erections and stamina. Once you begin to make changes in your lifestyle and habits, you’ll soon notice a huge difference in the way your penis reacts. But as the story goes, with every choice you make, eventually you have to pay the piper. Whether it’s three months or three years, somewhere along the line, your penis is going to give you an ultimatum—either get rid of that shit or else! Eliminating just one of poor choices will have its benefits, and before you know it you’ll be feeling 17 again.
