Illustrator Malika Favre was born in Paris, France and now lives in London, England where she draws inspiration from her everyday existence. In 2011, she was commissioned by Paul Buckley at Penguin Books US to illustrate a new Deluxe Classic Cover of the Kama Sutra by Vatsyayana.
This was when Malika added a sexy twist and brought the alphabet to life with an extra bit of kink. Using the original set of seven letters she created for the cover, she then decided to develop a full set 26 letters as part of an exhibition project. Known for her bold and vibrant illustrations, Malika has created illustrations for some of the biggest magazines and fashion brands. Learn more about Malika Farve here.
