Liberator Review Program

Thanks for your interest in being a Liberator Reviewer!

Reviewers receive free products from Liberator in exchange for their honest review.  The reviewers post their reviews on their sites, and the reviews also appear on Liberator Ooh and Liberator.com (on the product pages and in the Buzz > Product Reviews section).  Reviewers are often the first to test the newest Liberator products!

In order to be considered to be a reviewer, you must first operate your own blog or website.  This does not have to be an adult oriented website, but that does help.

Second, your website Alexa ranking must be under 500,000.  (Not sure?  Go to Alexa.com and check now.)

Third, you must be a good writer, and have a good camera to take pictures.

Program Guidelines:

1.      For each $50 worth of product (rounded to the nearest $50 increment), Reviewer must complete one review.  One review is constituted as either:

• One written review with a minimum of 500 words
• One YouTube video highlighting the product’s features
  • YouTube video must have the name of the product in the title of the video or as an on-screen title.
  • Video must also have the Company website (www.liberator.com) in the video description or as an on-screen title.
• One article centered around the product such as a how-to or a tips and tricks educational piece, with a minimum of 500 words
• One photo gallery of the product with 10 or more images
• Any other type of review must be pre-approved by the reviewer selection team
• If Reviewer has more than one website (that meets the qualifications listed at # 16), each posting will count as one review

2.       Review will be posted on the Reviewer’s individual website as well as on the Company’s website at Liberator.com, and the Company’s blog – the Liberator Ooh! E-zine.

3.       Reviewer agrees to post their product review on their individual website within 7 days of receipt of the product.

4.       Completed typed reviews will be sent in a Word document, as well as all photos (in their original size sent in a zip folder) and videos, to the web editor at jake@liberator.com to be posted on the Company website.  These items are due within 14 days of receipt of the product.

5.       At least one link to the Company website (www.liberator.com) and one link to the specific product page of the item reviewed must be included in each review posted on the Reviewer’s website.

• Liberator Affiliate Program links may also be used, but only in addition to the prior required links.
• Links to competitor’s sites or competitor affiliates links may not be included in the review.

6.       Additional photos and videos will be considered very helpful.

7.       Additional product suggestions such as coordinating items and accessories are also helpful.

8.       Author name – The Reviewer may choose to have their review posted under their blog/author name.  If desired, this information must be sent to the editor when all other materials are delivered.

9.       Banner exchange – The Reviewer has the option to submit a website banner to be displayed on the Reviewer’s posts on the Company’s sites; the Reviewer must also display the Liberator Ooh banner on their site, whether in the review post or on the homepage.

10.   Reviewer should promote each individual review posting to their personal site through appropriate social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Reddit, Stumbleupon, and any other available portal.  Reviewer is not responsible for posting on or directly promoting the Company site.

11.   The first time Reviewer may receive one item free of cost that is valued at $100 or less, as approved by the reviewer selection team.

12.   The established Reviewer may receive additional, higher cost items as approved.

13.   Reviewer may obtain up to two (2) free products per month.

14.   Additional products may be purchased at a discounted rate of 25% off in exchange for one review.

15.   Items available for review will depend on cost, availability, demand, and other contributing factors associated.

16.   Reviewer may participate in this program while they have their own website with a personalized domain name.  The Alexa ranking of this site must fall below 500,000.  If at any time the ranking exceeds this amount, the Reviewer will not be allowed to participate in the free product review program until the ranking returns to the appropriate range.  During this time, the Reviewer may continue to review Liberator products, but they will not be able to receive free products for the purposes of review.  Instead, a discount of 25% will be offered in exchange for the review.

17.   The Company may use this content in perpetuity only as part of its ezine and website for the purposes of posting reviews, articles, and associated content.  This content will appear in the “Sexessories” section of Liberator Ooh Ezine, and in “Product Reviews” in the “Buzz” section of Liberator.com.  This content will not be used in any advertising campaigns or for marketing purposes.

18.   The Reviewer shall own the copyright to their work, and the Company may not use the material in any other way than that stated above.  Furthermore, the Company’s use of the material is strictly limited to its ezine and website.  The Reviewer must approve the use of the material on any other section of its site or blog.

19.   In addition to the above terms of this agreement, the Reviewer will also post a short review on the item’s product page on Liberator.com.  This will be a concise version of the full review.
