Billy Sheahan: I grew up in a fairly religious catholic family. We weren’t even allowed to watch “Charlie’s Angels” on TV. I had to hide my Farrah poster under a “Star Wars” poster.
So it’s no wonder that my childhood repression led to my sense of awe of the beauty of women that continues to this day. The subtle curves, grace and strength have always been an inspiration in my 20 year photography career.
When I’m not exploring my work with women, I shoot commercial advertising, travel, people and fashion photography. I have also exhibited my work in galleries and sold to private collectors throughout the United States.
I call Chicago home, but I frequently travel throughout North America and Europe.
