Sex Story by a Vampire Lover

I have always loved vampires.  Even when I was a little girl back in the 80s, before vampires were a part of mainstream culture, I was utterly obsessed.  I used to buy those plastic vampire fangs every Halloween, and then I would proceed to wear them year-round.  My mother would often express her disappointment over my “dark interests”, longing for the old days when I liked to dress up as Rainbow Brite and Pippilongstocking instead of witches and vampires.

In 1994 with the release of “Interview with the Vampire”, I had my first introduction to the sexual side of vampires.  Starring Tom Cruise as the callous Lestat, Brad Pitt as the ever-somber Louis, and Antonio Banderas as the smoldering Armand, I was completely hooked.  Even at the tender age of 12 (I’m revealing my age here) I picked up on the sexual tension between Lestat and Louis, and Armand and Louis.  There was even some sexual tension between Louis and the eternal child-vampire Claudia!  Vampires were no longer a fascination for me, but an infatuation; I was attracted to their fair skin, light eyes, sharp teeth, and incredible strength.  Their eternal youth and beauty didn’t hurt either.

Over my teen years, I began collecting images of vampires, vampire movies and books, and costumes.  I made vampire fangs from press-on nail sets until special effects fangs were put on the market.  I eventually got into biting my friends playfully, then later biting my boyfriends.  A friend of mine and I coined the term “vampire love bites”, which were a combination of a pleasurably painful bite, mixed with lips and tongue action.  While my goal was not to leave marks, unless the person asked for it, my friend seemed determined to leave the most hideous looking hickies as a badge of her work.  Needless to say, I was asked to perform these vampire love bites more often than she, although I did thoroughly enjoy ordering her to bite people at parties and bars.  Seeing the mixed reactions of pleasure and pain on their faces was priceless.

Fast forward to the current decade.  With “Twilight”, “Vampire Diaries”, and “True Blood” all being huge successes, vampires are a legitimate part of mainstream culture.  They are no longer part of an underground, gothic fantasy, but have been integrated into teen and pop culture.  Some “old school” vampire-lovers might discredit these newer works as “trendy” or even “ridiculous”, but I enjoy them all.  For me, the attractive casts, the vampire lore, the neck-biting, and in the case of “True Blood” straight-up, hard-core bloody sex scenes, are better than porn.

In the basest terms, vampires are sex symbols.  Again, they represent eternal youth and beauty.  Vampire fangs are phallic symbols, and when vampires bite, they penetrate their victim (or partner as the case may be).  This penetration causes blood to flow, which resembles lubrication.  For sadists and masochists, the giving/receiving of this pleasurable pain is the ultimate draw.  Further, vampires are constantly depicted having super strength, endurance, and speed, and they have been around for ages to perfect their sexual ability.  Having sex with a vampire is the ultimate fantasy, and one I would venture to guess that I share with a decent percentage of the population.

These days I have a pair of high quality removable ceramic vampire fangs, three pairs of vampire contacts (red and black, light blue, and white), and dozens of coordinating gothic clothing for vampire role-playing.  I continue to be a biter, and I also get pleasure out of being bitten.  I enjoy biting during foreplay or as an extra sensation during sex.  Vampire fantasies make up the majority of my lustful thoughts, especially about the 1000 year old vampire Eric Northman!  I have even written some slash fiction, written in first-person and basically placing myself in the world of Eric Northman, Bill Compton, and other long-toothed hotties.

While biting can often be a great way to elevate the pleasure level during sex, you have to remember to be careful and not to get carried away!  If you partner likes being bitten hard, and likes to role-play as a vampire victim, be sure to choose a safe word ahead of time.  It is also NEVER a good idea to break the skin and actually drink someone’s blood!  Not only can blood carry diseases and infections, but you could also seriously injure your partner.  If you are interested in blood play, do some research online before doing anything.  For a safer alternative, I highly recommend using any of these fake blood recipes which look like the real thing but are safe AND edible!
