Upcoming Fetish Retreats

The summer is really heating up. Now is the time to take that well deserved vacation and go on a fetish retreat.

Two fetish retreats are coming up this week: Woods Stocks and Thunder in the Mountains. Read below to find out more on each.

Woods Stocks 2010 will take place on 50 acres of privately-owned land in southwestern Pennsylvania from July 15-18. Woods Stocks is a private organization that requires membership. While the late deadline has already passed, you may still contact them if you want to join.

Woods Stocks is a pan sexual BDSM camping retreat in the woods. It has a 2500 square foot dungeon, a Dom/sub auction, and a variety of vendors that suit the alternative lifestyle. Workshops will vary from spanking, dirty talk, liquid latex bodypainting, and Dom/sub topics.

There will also be an intense interrogation scene for everyone to watch. The interrogators will be military trained and will act out (play) torture to get their subjects to speak. This is going to be one intense show!

From the “woods” to the “mountains”, Thunder in the Mountains is a leather fetish event that will take place in Denver, Colorado July 16-18. Online registration is currently closed, but you can register at the door. Check out their Facebook page for more info.

Thunder in the Mountains will have seminars given by 17 presenters including an erotica author, BDSM experts, a medical kinkster, a whip master, an adult entertainer, and many more. There will also be vendors, a talent show, and of course, a dungeon.

This retreat also takes place in a hotel, which is nice for all of the city mice like me, but keep in mind that the public areas in a retreat like this require you to be completely clothed and not exhibiting any alternative behavior. Because retreats like this take place outside of the fetish community, all nudity and fetish behavior has to be reserved for the private areas–otherwise the retreat won’t get invited back!
